In September 2018 Michael together with the Swiss Consulate founded Swiss Connection Cape Town (SCCT) www.swiss-connection.co.za – a networking platform in the greater Cape Town area Michael was born in Cape Town. When he was five years old the family went back to Zurich where he grew up. From 1985 to 1987 he worked on the Stock Exchange in Geneva for UBS, one of the leading Swiss banks. With his wife Andrea he moved end of 1987 to South Africa, Andrea works as a freelance tourist guide. They have two children who now are living in Zurich.
