A brief intro to Rawson Auctions and what we offer clients wanting to go the auction route.
The Auction method is a fast, quick method to sell a property for urgent sellers

The advantages of an auction are:
NO cost to the seller
A set auction date, once a month
Buyers are pre-qualified
Commission is paid by the buyer
The seller signs a mandate that secures the price

Our auctions are held at our Head Office to attract serious buyers

We commence a marketing campaign that involves the following:
Preparation of a detailed bidders pack
Newspaper release by in house publicist
Formal newspaper advertising
We send an email out to our database monthly
Formal viewing dates for prospective bidders

Our mandate allows for a post auction period of 45 days, this is to finalize a deal in the event that the bids on the day of the auction are not acceptable.
Auction Terms:
1) No registration fee to bid. However, all buyers are required to register before bidding on a property
2) 5% deposit of purchase price on fall of the hammer
3) 10% commission plus VAT over and above purchase price to Rawson Auctions on fall of the hammer payable by the buyer
Payment strictly by bank guaranteed cheque or EFT (we regret no cash)

Consumer Protection Act regulations stipulate that all bidders be registered and that they bring certified copies of their identity documents and proof of residence.
